The NXGEN pendant is the key interface for the operation of the machine. In designing the new pendant, retaining the Legacy familiarity and functionality was first priority with a goal of a minimal operator training requirement. However, it is not just a duplication and has multiple hardware improvements on the inside.
Less Wires
The wire count from the Control to the pendant has been reduced to about one third of the Legacy.
Simplified
The internal wiring design is greatly reduced to minimal power, logic, and USB wires.
No Drilling
Designed to drop into the existing hardware, no need to drill extra holes in the machine.
Less Noise
No high AC voltage in the pendant eliminates potential electrical noise on logic signals.
Industrial Grade Keyboard
Like the Legacy, our pendant uses a standard QWERTY layout for familiarity. Having a Windows style keyboard provides both functionality and the easy use of the many software programs features such as shop floor and process automation.
- Simplified design. The panel mount USB design greatly improves the simplicity inside the pendant.
- Water and Grease Ready. Besides having a NEMA 4X seal, the keys are made of industrial silicone rubber.
- Back-lit Keyboard. The keyboard has a back-lit feature that can be turned on with a push of a key for low-light environments.

Pendant Specifications
While others attempt to recreate the Legacy using cheaper components, we use the identical switches and knobs. Using the same manufacture retains the exact feeling even though they cost a little more.
15” Color LCD Touchscreen High Resolution Monitor
The keyboard is a PC Style Keyboard – panel mounted, IP64 rated seal with tactile feedback. To make it even better, it has a back-lit feature with the touch of a button the keys lite up for that extra bit of comfort.
